Subject: BBC Micro CD-ROM?

I did experiment with a CD-ROM drive with the IDE interface and
successfully got some test data off. However, as Sprow has
mentioned, getting a useful filing system is hampered by the 2K
sector sizes.

Last time I had a play with my CD-ROM drive it wouldn't power up,
(like my LCD display) so I never got around to doing anything
further with it (like my LCD display, grrr).

Read-only, easy. ADFS is 16K and is hampered by being awfully
written and dependant on being a read/write filing system. VFS is a
read-only FS and gits in 16K.

There are three food groups: brown, green and ice cream.
