IIRC the stock ADFS SCSI code is hard-coded to expect a 256-byte sector size 
only though, which I suspect rules out it working with a lot of modern devices 
(such as a SCSI-IDE bridge). JGH probably knows more about patching it to work 
'properly', but then it's not "without a custom ROM" any more :-)
