Subject: Cleaning 5 1/4" drives

I am also having the same problems with my drive. I also tried my  
drive that I use with my as spectrum and iie the same problem. I did  
buy a cleaning kit when I was in Canada to clean my apple iie drives  
and it worked a treat. Unfortunately I didn't bring the kit with me  
but a quick search on eBay found a few.
