Perhaps...
If the Plusnet 'Broadband basic pay as you go' is what I think it is, it's
basically just a ** dial up ** placeholder for the account (BT do something
similar to preserve your account details when moving Broadband).
So someone needs to get hold of him and plead for the site to be
re-established on his new BB account (unless he is doing this already of
course!)

Same here.
Whilst I've known websites get temporarilly suspended because of
bandwidth use, /removing/ one sounds a bit drastic! Time for a new
webhost, methinks!
I guess he got a bit too popular...
