Subject: Master Compact video output

Good afternoon

I fired up my BBC Master Compact earlier today, to try to load a game.  When 
the game changed the video mode from MODE7, the screen went, and stayed 
black.  When I've switched the machine off and back on again, now MODE7 is 
white with black bars inbetween.  No text can be read on the display.  All 
other modes are "broken".  This happens on both the RGB and comp video 
outputs.  Does anybody know if it's a common problem, easily fixable?
