My approach is getting the most 'vulnerable' part of it running - that is, 
the contributions on the Community Disc. I'm in the process of decoding the 
indexing data and the content into an SQL database, linked to the frame 
numbers. Once I've got that I have tested an approach to automate capture 
of every single frame into JPEG, which means I can link it all together.

Things like map data can be provided using the Google Maps API or 
OpenStreetMap (the former is more complete, the latter I have friends and 
colleagues who develop so I will have more assistance). I'm not bothered 
about things like census data.

Once I've done that I'll take it from there what I do with it!
