Indeed. ?If I know MPs, then they want all the work done for them! ?A
paragraph describing the issue, a paragraph indicating the benefits,
and the wording of a proposed amendment to a specified act should do
it. ?Anything too long or too vague will get a "thank you, very
interesting" and be otherwise ignored. ?Even so, it might still get
that response unless they can see that the benefits of promoting it
will outweigh the work involved!

The documents that we've just learned about that show copyright was
originally assigned to the BBC should help as supporting materials.
Of course, that just means that BBC co-operation would be needed as
well...
