What a coincidence - having acquired a working domesday setup, I've
just finished dumping off the data from the Community N & S disks, and
the National also, as an easter project of sorts. Ian's site was
invaluable in getting the kit up and working!

The setup was to follow the Camileon process of hooking up the LV-ROM
to a Linux box via scsi, and to parse the data to save each file from
the disks. I've also written the frame grabbing serial code to loop
through the images one by one, with each frame being grabbed and saved
with the index number. The images from the N&S disks and one side of
the National have been grabbed this way, but the quality is only so-
so, but could be down to the capture card used.

The next step was to work on the emulator - the plan being on
compiling Beebem to flash, and adding an emulation layer for the LV-
ROM, to give a domesday emulator in a browser. I've reached Beebem
compiling with Adobe's Alchemy, but not linking with the flash SDL
library yet.

The disk data is approx. 200Mb per side, and the images are around
800k each.

Hwyl,
Rhys
