Subject: MOS 3.50 CMOS Reset

The battery in my MOS 3.50 Master has gone, so I did the R-power on
thing and I was surprised to note that it appears to reset the configuration
settings to sensible values, like Mode 7, FS 254, PS 235, language BASIC
etc. instead of everything being zero.

Was this an improvement for MOS 3.50, or is it one of the other ROMs
in this machine which does this?  It has a special board piggy-backed
onto the 6502 which maps out some of the system ROMs and puts
other ROMs on the board in their place.
