Subject: net monitor - help pls!
Hi All.
Would it be posible for sombody with a Level 3 econet or similar
native server working to *spool the network monitor tracking another
station booting up and issuing the following commands ?
*I am 0.254 invaliduser
*I am 0.254 SYST
*.
*stations
plus anything else you fancy running...
(replace 254 for whatever your server is!)
I've got logs of AUN traffic, but no actual econet to compare against,
and there's only so much you can do looking at the documentation!
I'm working on getting BeebEm talking AUN, and it's almost there.
I've got to fake the four-way-handshake on the Beeb side, and just
having a few issues keeping things in sync. It's trying to talk to
the L4 server, and I can see "Who are you?" in the packets coming
back. It's close .. I'd like to see some actual transactions from a
native econet though.
Oh, does anybody know if there is anywhere a list of port numbers and
control byte meanings? IAlso, s there a definite way of determining
if a first packet is a scout or a immediate (extended scout) apart
from checking it's length?
Cheers!
