Subject: Econet Rom version differences

There was a separate NFS3.60 ROM, our school used them, and I've still
got a copy too.

I'm not convinced it was an official Acorn creation though, as the ACW I
had (which all came with Econet and 1770 disk interfaces), had the
standard DNFS ROM, and if the 3.60 NFS had been official then this would
have presumably been used instead.

Copies of a standalone NFS 3.60, the ANFS for BBC B/B+ and other Econet
ROMs are available at:
http://mdfs.net/System/ROMs/Filing/Network/Acorn/

I should compare the NFS 3.60 there with the one I have to see if they
are identical - if it was generated by hacking the DNFS ROM then it is
possible that its been done in more than one way.

Some details of the differences between Econet ROM versions are
documented on MDFS.net at:

http://mdfs.net/Docs/Comp/Econet/Versions

Regards
