Be very careful with MIDI cables. MIDI only uses pins 2,4 and 5 (the
middle 3), so some MIDI cables won't have pins 1 and 3 connected, and will
be useless as Econet cables.

I learnt the hard way by buying a few new short MIDI cables from CPC, thinking
they would be good for Econet leads, but found they were useless.

Regards

Michael
P.S. Does anyone need some MIDI cables? :-)
