Subject: Master Compact Drive Cable

I don't suppose anyone has a picture / diagram to hand of how these are
wired do they ?

I looked at all the pictures I could find but none are clear around the
actual wiring area. From what I can see (apart from the cable having
less wires) , two pins are joined too.

I have acquired a Compact with twin drives (both drives do work, tested
well with a 1770 B) , but I am struggling to see how to actually wire
them in a Compact due to the cable. I have the D plug wired with
(short-ish) length of cable but nothing more. I have tried a few
permutations without much luck :(

I do know about the DS select switch on the sides of the drives ;) , as
a side note: when I used them on the 'B' , the drive light did not work
at all, although when I (accidentally!) plugged the cable in upside
down, it did permanently illuminate (as expected) so I'd guess they are
internally wired slightly differently anyway, maybe specially produced
for Acorn ?

Any advice, hints, tips or a diagram would be most welcome :D
