A bridge is specifically defined as a same-network to same-network

functionality is not a bridge. It's either a gateway (connects
differing networks) or a router (connects same or differing
networks, able to process packets)

Youth has now fled. Their best years have been passed in the service
of the party. They are ageing and their ideals have also passed,
dispersed by the contrarities of daily struggles.
