Thanks Jonathan.

I had not actually thought of using HiBasic to try this. Understand what 
you mean regarding a CoPro, does seem logical really in that it's needed 
to run L3 so I should have it enabled for disk preparation. I had 
(incorrectly?) assumed WFSINIT only had that "needs tube" line as a 
leftover from when the only available machine was a 32K 'B rather than a 
Master. It was disabled mainly as I was doing other things just before...

Anyway, I will go and grab a HiBasic rom image (or a selection more 
likely) , pop into sideways ram and try that Sunday afternoon when I 
have an hour free to play with this. :)
