Right, that's certainly one of my aims for this thing. The four
use-cases that I'm interested in are:
1) link two Econet segments across a LAN, so that I can use a wifi link
to connect the machines in my garage to the ones in my study.
2) allow machines with no native Econet capability to talk to those that
do have it, so that I can copy files between my PC and the Beeb universe
without too much faffing around.
3) provide an IP router function so that Econet-based machines can
access the Internet.
4) what you said: link multiple network segments across WAN links to
form an "intereconet".
There's still a bit of software work left to realise all of these
ambitions but it's getting there.
