Although ordered, later I found the DIL variants. This was a
distributor, and no stock. He did his very best to find out if
those still could be delivered. They are! He directed me to an
electronics shop in Amsterdam. I should receive the line drivers
at home in about 14 days, as they're coming from abroad. That's
the end of next week. Fingers crossed!

Thanks. I did give it a try. Nice.
I have found easily the serial cable I had made years ago. Using
the two machine setup as with your progs, it turns out the cable
was ok!
At some point the output was more than a single line, so I would
like to SPOOL that output. Using the same method, the second
machine was not running any program, but in BASIC at the command
prompt. From there SPOOL was opened on DFS, and whatever came in
from the NETMON machine was spooled together with BASIC's
'Mistake' responses to file.
So a small bit of cleaning was needed. :-)

The following was monitored from net 3, when the bridge between
nets 1 and 2 was switched on:
FFFF1818809Cv02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
FFFF3030819C03v02 i
It's interessting to see the net and station numbers used
by the bridges. The first with 24.24, later ones with 48.48.
These could be sequence numbers. Anyway, it will be highly
interessting to see what happened further to these numbers
when the 4th net will be present.
For now I hope it is already of some use!
