okies, I'll mail you privately :-)

It looks like I've got a couple of leads on replacement machines
anyway, so hopefully I can get hold of one of those and that'll put me
back on-track.

I completely missed out the archimedes stuff when it was current; I
knew the Beebs inside-out, and stuck with them until the mid 90s, when
I got a "proper" job (programing in Cobol under BOS) which for the
most part used x86 based hardware.. So all this is new to me. lol.
