They used to have a list of potential WD40 applications on the website - I'm 
sure "ruining stuff" was in there somewhere. It really is bloody horrible 
stuff for the majority of jobs...

No problems with IPA, although I'm not so sure about the spray stuff - seems 
like it wouldn't give very fine control over where it goes (and even with a 
straw, spray cans aren't always great for delivering an exact amount)
