Subject: Tales of woe and stupidity
When I worked at Watford they added extra memory to basic Acorn
systems to sell at a premium. One particular machine - I can't
remember which - was so arranged that when the lid was off the
bio-mechanically obvious way to turn the power on caused your thumb
to straddle the case, resting on the inner contacts of the power
switch.
Every now and then you'd hear cries of "ow! shit, bugger" as
somebody was bitten again.
