who claim to have 6' trestle tables for hire at ?2.20 ea. (I presume per day).

Not quite sure if they are local enough, or what their delivery
charges might be, but it seems to indicate that this is not an
unreasonable amount of money; couple of quid per machine look like it
would cover it..
