I was pretty much joking, yes. :p

I sincerely doubt there's enough hardware floating around to connect  
any significant number of rooms together via ethernet anyway - I  
certainly don't have any. Nor do I have a PC to run the Windows  
version of BeebEm, either!

PS. The Ethernet Bar was, however, an entirely serious suggestion. ;)
