Subject: Fileservers

Hi all,

I've sort of got econet going between two beebs (it's a tempory lash up
on breadboard, with a AVR mega8 acting as a clock generator...), anyway
I've hopefully got a couple of master/Achemedes econet boards and a
clock coming from BeebMaster's shop which should go some way towards
making this a little less tempory :)

The above setup seems to work using BeebMaster's basic notify program, I
have tried from both stations. But I cannot get the L1 fs from JGH's
site to work, the fileserver boots fine, but the other station always
says "not listening" when accessing the network.

Since I don't have a co-pro at the moment I'm pretty much limited to the
L1 fileserver. However I do also have an A5000, which I believe can also
use the master econet board. Can I use this machine as a fileserver for
my Beebs ?

On a side note is the L1 server disk available as an image, the archive
on mdfs.net only seems to contain the !Boot and FS files.

Cheers.

Phill.
