Subject: Sick Beeb

One of my Beeb's has suddenly stopped working. It's getting as far as printing
the startup message and I get a flashing cursor at the BASIC prompt. However,
it continually produces the first beep and I can't type anything.

I've swapped out the keyboard and cable, have cleaned the contacts and reseated
all of the ICs but to no avail.

Any ideas what might be going wrong?
