Subject: Strange cub connector

My plastic Cub had a 7- or 8-pin socket on the back, it was originally
intendeed to be used as a CGA monitor (TTL RGBI) with a PC compatible.
I had a couple of scrap metal-cased ones, so as well as removing the
PROM panel and reconfiguring the monitor for the Beeb, I actually
replaced the socket on the back as well.

I have another plastic Cub in the garage that I plan to do the same
thing to - a monitor for the Beeb is more useful to me than a CGA!
