Or "Never Twice the Same Color" (remember, it's American, don't forget 
to spell color incorrectly!). It's all down to the hue being set in the 
telly. Mom recalls when planes used to fly over for a landing at BiWi, 
Nixon's face would veer into the green. :-)

My point EXACTLY.

So the ground difference (and your zappage potential) is thus only 55V 
with respect to ground, while the equipment is actually a normal 
single-phase 110V thingy? I see.
