:-) Well, in many situations a mobile has replaced the computer, as
opposed to working with it, so you kinda have to cram all that stuff
into a tiny device.

Maybe to the Japanese it is different? I have in the past used Jap
remote controls (one was actually written with ideographic legends on
the buttons) which were tiny. Maybe it comes naturally to them? I was
forever pressing the wrong buttons.
On the other hand, the Freesat remote control (see my website for a
piccy) is the offence to *my* soul - you could kill a burglar with it,
use it to prop up a car while changing a tyre... it's way oversized and
a bunch of keys have corresponding menu options. Do you really need an
aspect ratio key? Really?
I guess it's part of what you are used to.

I heard it wasn't making too much progress (yet?) on account of being
too "retro"!
