Subject: RISC OS London show - Good news about Domesday system,

Hi,

Domesday System worked first time after about 4 years (once I had looked up
how to start it). Only issues, the Laser Disc Player drawer doesn't open all
the way and one LVROM is unreadable, but I have a spare which is OK. Only
wasted 3 hours so far playing with it.

On the other hand RISC iX is looking more problematic. The allegedly working
R260 won't boot at all and the battery has leaked all over the motherboard
so I don't know that the disc is good. The R260 without a working RISCiX
partition, blew up its power supply. Now I will have to try and rebuild a
working R260 from the bits....
