I was thinking this to myself yesterday, but didn't think to post it
on here for some reason.

And oddly enough, I'm fairly sure the reason I thought of it was that
there was a posting on this very list some time back, about setting up
a working Prestel system for a TV show involving taking away a
family's modern stuff and replacing it with 80s stuff. Or is this my
very dodgy memory playing tricks on me?
