FWIW, I'm using Google Mail, and have just developed the habit of
clicking Reply-to-All, then manually cutting and pasting the list
address out of the CC: field and into the To: field. Occasionally I'll
have to edit out another address or two that's also lurking in CC: (it
was with this message). I don't know if there's any automated
solutions for doing this with Google Mail, but it's only a few
keypresses so it doesn't bother me.
