Hmm, Thunderbird seems to be broken in that regard - it always puts the list
address in a cc: field rather than a to: field. If it gave me two to: fields
and all I had to do was delete one (or if it presented the list in the to:
field and the individual in cc:) then I agree it's not quite such a big of a
deal to just double-click and delete the individual's address... (I'm not sure
if sending a message with just a cc: field works, but it sure 'feels' like it
should violate some spec or other :-)
Re. the Thunderbird 'patch' - does it also add a "reply to list" menu item
when I right-click on a message in the message list? That's my normal way of
initiating a reply, not clicking on one of the toolbar buttons... if it adds
that functionality I think I'll give it a go.
