What Thunderbird 'patch' are you talking about? Whilst modifying address 
lines is no big issue, I'd like a 'Reply To Group/List' capability.

If you mean 'Add-on', and you mean the 'Reply In Group' 'Add-on', then 
it does not work with the latest versions of Thunderbird, It only works 
with versions up to 1.6 and with security in mind, I wouldn't want to 
still be running with such an old version. They are vulnerable to DoS 
attacks.
