On a more serious note, I wonder if anybody has designed a little
PIC-like thingy to hook on to a phone line to intercept pulse dials and
emit tones. I guess it'd be a little more complex than it sounds because
of a need to pass traffic on the line whilst insulating the real line
from the behaviour of the pulse signalling.
