Sounds like Repton Infinity, which was an ambitious game development
system for the Beeb rather than just another Repton sequel.  Possibly
too a stretch too far, tho - the gameplay certainly suffered.

I think most players would consider Repton 3 and its spin-offs to be
the definitive engine on the BBC micro.

well, for now anyway ... ;)
