It shows a nice attention to detail that's been missing in some other
episodes (early 90s Rover 600 in the foreground of a shot, etc). I've
not actually watched them but I've read discussions about it.

Plus I've got a 1987 Audi Coupe GT on my driveway, so any reference to
these cars makes me smile a bit.
