I presume these are old impact printers?  I don't think many people
actually *collect* them, but there are businesses who still use such
things, and it's usually possible to sell them on, say, eBay, albeit
for peanuts.

If we are talking consumer grade inkjets, then the local council tip,
sorry, "recycling centre", usually has a skip set aside for the
recycling of electrical equipment..
