You could always try Freegle (http://www.ilovefreegle.org/) - 'Don?t throw
it away ? give it away!'

These are yahoo based groups which evolved from the old freecycle network.
You post a message saying 'load of old printers', if anyone is interested,
they will come and collect them.

You might find a local business may be interested, so worth a try
before committing them to landfill. I've managed to clear a lot of old
equipment that way.
