Ah. Perhaps I missed this in your original message. Are you saying
that your sync speed varies a lot ? The way I read the original message
was that it had been OK up to Jan 2009 and was now very low.

Yep, spot on. I'm guessing that you're using a DrayTek router - not
a brand I've had any experience with I'm afraid.
So what's happened to bins 121 to 136 or so ? The fact that those bins
aren't being used at all but those either side are looks a tad
suspicious. 521kHz to 586 kHz: that's the bottom end of medium wave,
so I'd get my portable radio out and see if there's a big local signal
there.
