Subject: Printer Cable

I've tried printing from Wordwise, and from View, and direct with VDU  
codes, etc. And have sent CR and LF codes, but still can't get it to LF at end  
of the line. As I had no problem with a Laserjet III (before that gave up 
thre  ghost), I presume it is something to do with how the Laserjet 1500 
works. There  aren't any dip switches, that I know of - that would have been too 
easy. I guess  it is expecting everything to be set by software, and the 
drivers only claim to  work for Windows and Mac OS.
 
I will have another go in a few weeks time - got to pack everything away as 
 we are moving house in a week's time.
