Subject: Tube 40 way cable
I had thought about this before, using a (preferably short) standard IDE
cable, obviously removing the central plug (or cutting the cable after
the central plug for a short cable). Although the few I looked at that I
had to hand, the a pin blanked off (as in filled in) in the sockets
themselves.
Shame really as this would of been a quick, inexpensive and convenient
solution I would guess, as I would assume the length of these was
acceptable (only an inch or so longer than a standard cheese-wedge
cable, so not too excessive)
Andy.
