Mike Cook in an issue of The Micro User showed how to convert a basic cub 
to work with an Arc showing all colours, that would make the speccy work 
as well I would have thought. I did the conversion back in the day, it was 
simply a matter (IIRC) of removing some jumpers that made the inputs TTL
levels rather than analogue. But if I also remember not all cubs had the
jumpers... Someone maybe able to check back issues of the Micro user for you.
