Subject: colour crystal adjustment in BBC master

Is it just my bad luck or is the adjustment (VC2) for this crystal rather
fragile ?

The one in my latest acquisition doesn't seem to do anything and then I noticed
a layer of plastic inside had broken away. Any ideas as to what to use for
a replacement, I couldn't find anything with the correct range last time
I looked.

What I'm doing is connecting the video input (vi) of the modulator to a phono
plug. It should product a colour picture but I get nothing. I also tried
the 470pf capacitor mod, didn't work either.
