Ah yes ... my sister was all into CB back in the 1980s...  Had this
absolutely massive aerial fitted to the back of the house.  If she was
transmitting at the same moment the Beeb's 5.25" drive was running,
the rattle got modulated and I could hear her voice coming out of it!!

Somewhere, I've still got a little hand-held CB radio..  last time I
tried it (several years ago!) all I could pick up was a couple of
truckers chatting on the M60.  One channel with two voices on it - the
rest were silent...
