If you don't fancy cutting tracks, this is my method, for use in a
beeb with no other ROM socket expansion -

Take one 62256 RAM chip,
Carefully bend pins 1 and 27 out and upwards, then solder about a foot
of wire to each one.
Plug chip into any available ROM socket.
Run wire from pin 1 to IC77 pin 8, cut to length, strip and solder on.
Run wire from pin 27 to IC76 pin 12, cut to length, strip and solder on.
..and you're done.

I generally put mine into the second-from-right ROM socket, with BASIC
in the rightmost.  This gives me RAM in sockets 14 & 10.
