I don 't know ... sounds like most real-world specifications for
programming jobs. Especially those that my last boss used to come up
with.
(I remember once, when we were replacing an accounts system at a
leisure centre once, being called upon to code up a report to replace
something they were doing manually on a spreadsheet to send up to the
council. We had the information on how the final figure should be
calculated from the council, and we had the slightly different
explanation from the girls in the office. But I couldn't get it to
come out with the same figures as them when replicating the previous
reports. In the end they finally admitted: "Well, we just fiddle with
the numbers until it looks right." ... gah!)
