Oops! My memory playing tricks on me. I did a whole load of them a
while back too, dismantling them, soldering new cells onto the old
wiring and diode, and taping them back up in the old shrink-wrap.

Before replacing the pack on the machine I was using, I also remember
*INSERTing BASIC, then typing in a FOR..NEXT loop to insert all the
remaining ROMS, which seemed quicker than typing *INSERT for
everything. Something like:

FORN=0TO15:OSCLI"INSERT "+~N:NEXT
