Hmmm... I've got a fully functioning email client for the Beeb -
handles timed downloads, auto-replies, various scripted actions,
creation of published message boards based on the emails etc. It's not
POP3 though, but viewdata.  I wrote it in about 1988...  BUT, all the
communications is handled via a service ROM - I wonder if I could
re-write it to handle POP3... Hmmm...  Might have issues with emails >
768 bytes in size though ...
