It worked reliably for us at AFE in Hong Kong.
When I worked at AFE in Hong Kong I ran a mixed network of BBCs,
Archimedeseses, A5000s, RiscIXs and PCs all connected with a mix
of Econet and Ethernet to several Level4FSs and a UNIX NFS server
running in RiscIX. All the PCs could access the NFS server and
could telnet into UNIX. All the RISC OS machines could access the
NFS server, the Level4 servers and could telnet into UNIX. All the
BBCs and Masters could access the Level4 servers and could telnet
into UNIX.
