Subject: Rockin' out with awServer :-)

Hi,

Just saw this, amongst many amusing and informative comments:

--8<--------
REM The following gave 17.5KS-1 blistering perfomance for an econet!
REM TFRL%=6*1024

REM Bruce says I can't do that P.E.R.I.O.D.

REM So we are back to this

TFRL%=5*256
--8<--------

Did Bruce say *why*? I mean, if it will royally screw up Beeb-class
machines, but all works fine with RISC OS... and your network is RISC OS
machines... might be an optimisation worth considering?

Best wishes,

Rick.
