Personal attacks like this are completely uncalled for and what is 
making this list so easy to leave.

Whatever you may think of John he has a very valid point. This is 
supposed to be a BBC list, not a group of people with nothing better to 
do than discuss everything but that.

I have an interest in retro hardware, I don't have any interest in 
anything or anyone else on this list. If it doesn't self-moderate itself 
very quickly then I too will be off. A shame as I've been subscribing 
since 2002.
